Tarmac – Craighouse & Cairneyhill Quarry

Scope of Works:  Contract Crushing provider, load and haul.

Constraints:  SEPA Licensing, Production targets, achieving technical gradings, Supervision and labour

Achievements:

 RJT provide contract crushing services for 5 major quarry sites within Central Scotland for Tarmac.

Production on these sites may range between producing single sized aggregates, concrete aggregates and fill materials.

Also, recycled road planning’s are processed on three of the sites to be used as a direct feed during asphalt production.

This assists Tarmac in achieving their environmental targets.

On aggregate production emphasis is on quality, shape and minimising dust production, being able to tailor to the client’s requirements by being flexible and change crushing requirements on a day to day basis.
